3 Ways to Heed the Prophetic Warning for the Church During Revival Harvest Gathering

I was driving to church and was heartbroken over the empty roads around me. Even more despairing were the many empty church parking lots I passed by. When I pulled into my church’s parking lot, the Lord gave me a vision where on the same road I just traveled, there would soon be bumper-to-bumper traffic, like cars waiting in line for a concert, sporting event, or theme park. This represented the masses of people driving to a church where the revival fire of God was burning. This was very exciting because my church is fervently contending for revival and seeks after the heart of God but was simultaneously sobering because God was also showing me a warning to those churches and ministries who have either kept their doors shut in fear or kept them open to deceiving His people. Either way, if these churches and ministries do not honor the platforms He gave them, they are going to be taken away and shut down.

In an earlier article, Prophetic Warning: Get Ready for Separation and Cleansing in the Church, God showed me in a vision that exposure was coming to the Church, and many churches, high profile leaders, and ministries would remain closed and shut down if they did not repent and get back to the true Word of God. Sadly, every day, we are seeing this occur in the great falling away.

However, there is hope for those who will return to their first Love and truly fulfill the Great Commission.

When the revival fire of God hits our cities, states, and nations, we need to be prepared to reach those who need to be saved, fed, and discipled. The Church is not yet ready for what God wants to do, and in His love and mercy is giving a window of time to repent, reset and restore the church to reach those who need direction. There is a remnant ready to gather, and it's time as the Body of Christ to unite and prepare while there is still time!

Here are three ways to prepare for and not miss out on the revival harvest gathering:

1) It’s time to get politics, pride, and popularity off of the pulpit. It’s time to get back to the most basic, yet most powerful message of the Gospel, and how all are in need of Jesus every moment of every day. It’s time for pastors and ministry leaders to stop counting the fans and followers and rather count the cost of the people heading for hell if they do not share the truth from the pure word of God with the platforms He has given in this season. Instead of endorsing a candidate or oneself, endorse Almighty God, Jesus Holy Spirit, and the living Word of God. There will be an account given before God on how His Word was communicated, lived, and exemplified with the platform given. For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable. (Hebrews 4:12-14 NLT)

2) It’s time to get the focus off “self” and onto Him! It’s time to remove the distraction from the enemy of casting pearls before swine by continually acting in defense or getting upset with everyone who sends a nasty message or belligerent comment on social media. Taking that time and applying it to speak God’s truth, no matter what response is given, will increase the number of people who will see, hear, and embrace the message that matters. Jesus did not care what people thought. He is our defender and vindicator. We were told that we would be persecuted for His name’s sake! Keep standing and speaking the truth! This is no time for distractions from the enemy. Remember, it is the enemy who is speaking through them! Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:17-21 NLT)

3) It’s time for pastors and ministry leaders to get back to the life-changing basics of God’s Word and stop altering the Word to appease the masses. Eternity is at stake, and the platforms given to share the reality of an eternity in Heaven or hell should never be taken for granted. How about less showiness and busyness and more Godliness and holiness? Call out sin for what it is and show people how to be free and stay free! No more tiptoeing and people-pleasing! The Word of God does not compromise, appease, or sugarcoat the truth! Don’t waste your time on useless work, mere busywork, the barren pursuits of darkness. Expose these things for the sham they are. It’s a scandal when people waste their lives on things they must do in the darkness where no one will see. Rip the cover off those frauds and see how attractive they look in the light of Christ. Wake up from your sleep, Climb out of your coffins; Christ will show you the light! So watch your step. Use your head. Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times! (EPHESIANS 5:11 MSG)

The harvest is here. There will be people who will experience the glory of God and will need the Church to be ready to gather, feed, prepare, equip, and make future disciples. Churches need to be open to receive them and ready to serve. God is giving a crucial and precious window of time to repent and rededicate these pluriform for His glory, and a warning that no matter the number of congregants, followers, fans or finances or endorsements, the doors will be closed, and platforms shut down, and this will adversely affect the masses who need every member of the Body of Christ to step up and step in to bring them to a saving knowledge and personal application of their identities as children of God. Time is critical. So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. (Ephesians 5:15-16 NLT)

The empty roads will soon be filled with desperate, hungry, and hurting people in need of hope, truth, and Jesus! God is looking for those with open doors and pure hearts to bring in the greatest revival the world has ever seen. Heed His word and warning and be part of this exciting time!
